ANY Council Guide Events
We are excited to invite Guides registered in Alberta, Northwest Territories and the Yukon to register and take part in the following events:
Arts Camp – August 9-15 at Tangletrees Camp near Pigeon Lake
Join us for a six night/seven day indoor camp focused on growing your artistic talents. ANY Council Arts Camp is a week-long event for current 2nd/3rd year Guides and 1st and 2nd year Pathfinders (youth who have just finished grades 5-8) from Alberta, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon. Youth members will spend the week creating friendships and memories while learning or mastering various forms of art. They will have their choice of morning program session.
The registration fee includes accommodations, food and all activities. Transportation to and from the camp is each member's responsibility.

Guide Weeklong Summer Camp – July 26-August 1 at Camp Sherbino (Sylvan Lake)
Join us for a summer camp all about being curious and creative! This camp will include opportunities to focus not only on camp skills, but on exploring the world around us. Girls will have fun while learning about wildlife conservation, participating in various activities, doing crafts and lots more! This will be a tenting camp at beautiful Camp Sherbino, just outside of Sylvan Lake.
The registration fee includes accommodations (tenting), food and all activities. Transportation to and from the camp is each member's responsibility.

Pathfinder and Ranger Tenting Camp – July 12-18 at Tangletrees Camp near Pigeon Lake
Pathfinder, Ranger, and Trex members are invited to join us at beautiful Tangletrees for a week of fun!
Welcome to Heritage Hollow, where the modern world fades away, and the spirit of the pioneers comes to life. This year's Pathfinders and Rangers summer camp will feature a homestead theme, transforming our camp into a bustling 19th-century settlement and challenging every Girl Guide to discover the grit, creativity, and resourcefulness of those who built a life from the ground up.
The registration fee includes accommodations (tenting), meals, and program activities.

New this year, ANY Council Pathfinder/Ranger Arts Camp is a week-long event for current 3rd year Pathfinders and all Rangers (youth who have just completed grades 9-12) from Alberta, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon. This camp will focus on different areas of the arts. Possible in-depth morning sessions could include culinary arts, creative writing, sewing, music, fine arts and drama. Afternoon sessions will develop smaller arts based skills such as weaving, woodwork, hand sewing and painting. Youth will have an opportunity to explore their creative sides while learning new skills or further developing existing skills.

Arts Camp is $400+GST and is limited to 40 participants.
ANY Summer Backpacking Camp – August 9-15 - Calgary & nearby Rocky Mountains
Looking for a challenge? Show your adventurous side and join us on a four-day backpacking trip. We will meet for two days in Calgary to learn about gear, backcountry camping, navigation, and to plan and prepare for our trip. We will then bus to the trailhead to begin our adventure.
Girls need to have tenting experience, be comfortable being off the grid for 4 days, and be capable of carrying at least 25% of their body weight.
Camp registration includes accommodations (tenting), meals, and program activities.
